I am looking for an engagement to apply my background and skills to a company in need of experience and knowledge in the areas of security, risk management, IT and other central office functions.  This role would work with an executive team to put in place a solid strategy and assist in putting the identified systems into play. TECHNOLOGY

Disciplines of IT

  • Security - Earlier adopter of security measures in IT concerning email, firewalls, off-site backups, and hardware as an expense.  Biometrics and white listing are some of my interests today.

  • IT Strategy  - Defined several plans and policies leveraging cost effective technologies for company growth and success.       

  • Cloud Computing - Full understanding of Microsoft’s offering for back office activities and other SaaS providers.   

  • Contracts  -  Negotiated contracts involving software, services, and hardware. 

  • Help Desk - Developed several support desk scenarios including a call center, out-sourced helpdesk as well as internal help desk.

  • Backup/DR - Implemented many scenarios for backup and restore from enterprise to individual computing

  • Mobile Computing - Understanding of the power of mobile computing while keeping the cost in line with budget.

  • ERP Implementation - Long history of enterprise implementations of various softwares.

RISK

Aspects of Risk Mangement

  • Business Liability  - Managed coverage policies for over 15 years constantly weighing coverage and cost.       

  • Insurance- A good understanding of the provider, user, and agent in the roles of providing all types of coverages.   

  • Employee Relations - Managed the benefits and compenstation packages in various environments and states under both CBAs and non-union staff.

  • Facilities Management - Instituted security systems, camera systems, and general site security on numerous properties.  Managed services to ensure upkeep and reliability for site locations.
